Records, records, records...

I've spent the last couple of days organizing and re-organizing both the layout of my research logs and the file hierarchy in which they're kept. Still have some info to process but I think I've finally got a handle on it.

Also wrote letters to the county clerks in Fulton and McDonough counties to request copies of my grandparents birth certificates. Both offices were very helpful and the lady at the McDonough office was able to confirm that they do have Louis Switzer's record in their files. Pretty good news all around!

I think I'm about ready to wrap up my search for primary sources for my grandparents. I've been very successful and though I'm sure I'll be re-visiting them from time to time I feel confident that I've proved their accounts of themselves in the Switzer-Merrill Family History.
